Message: The most iconic record store in Michigan. How they're still open after the internet destroyed every other mom and pop record store is mind-boggling. The owner is in various newspapers, magazines, and internet blogs as well as a Netflix movie about Flint. The guys a legend. Everyone should stop in if you're going on a tour of Flint. His store is like a museum of music or an historical landmark.

Message: This place is just as titled.. Music Planet. It has been around for MANY YEARS. It has the oldest to the newest music present, which includes gospel, contemporary, jazz, to upbeat & today's artists, as well as, conducts a little bit of other sales, such as: distribution sales for some area concert tickets, plays, other in store selling items, etc. Mr. Carter have been serving in the Northside community area for many years (since I was a kid. and I myself, am now a mother and grandmother), he is greatly appreciated
